Starting a coffee business is exciting—and overwhelming. DMV Barista consultations are designed to bridge that gap between a dream and a functional, profitable setup. Whether you’re building a café, a mobile cart, or just testing an idea, we’ll walk through everything from concept and brand identity to workflow, menu creation, sourcing, equipment, and customer experience. This isn’t a cookie-cutter business plan—it’s real-world strategy built from years behind the bar and inside the industry. We’ll talk through what works, what doesn’t, and how to make your coffee concept stand out without losing its soul. Expect actionable steps, honest feedback, and good vibes along the way.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Fee Full payment for your class is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Until payment is received, your spot will remain open and may be offered to other clients. Cancellations by Client More than 2 weeks before your class: You may cancel and receive a 75% refund of the total payment made. Between 1 and 2 weeks before your class: You may cancel and receive a 50% refund of the total payment made. Less than 1 week before your class: You may cancel and receive a 25% refund of the total payment made. Within 72 hours of your class: No refund will be issued. Cancellations by Instructor In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund of all payments made, or the option to reschedule to the earliest available date that works for you. No-Show Policy If you are not present at your scheduled class without prior notice, all payments made will be forfeited and no rescheduling will be offered. Rescheduling Requests More than 2 weeks before your class: You may reschedule without penalty, subject to availability. Your booking fee will transfer to the new date. Less than 2 weeks before your class: Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and a 10% rebooking fee of your total. Emergencies: Life happens — please reach out as soon as possible and I will do my best to work with you fairly.
