Service Description
Perfect coffee starts with understanding the brew. DMV Barista’s Brewing Fundamentals training teaches the principles behind manual brewing methods — including pour-over, cold brew, and batch brewing — through hands-on guidance and tasting exercises. You’ll learn how grind size, ratio, temperature, and time interact to shape flavor, then apply that knowledge to brew balanced, repeatable cups every time. What’s Included: 2-hour guided brewing workshop Hands-on practice with multiple brew methods Brewing and taste calibration session Brew ratio and recipe guide for home or café use What You Need: Closed-toe shoes (for safety during brewing demos) Notebook and pen Curiosity, attention to detail, and good vibes Best For: Aspiring baristas and café trainees Teams standardizing brew recipes and methods
Cancellation Policy
Booking Fee Full payment for your class is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Until payment is received, your spot will remain open and may be offered to other clients. Cancellations by Client More than 2 weeks before your class: You may cancel and receive a 75% refund of the total payment made. Between 1 and 2 weeks before your class: You may cancel and receive a 50% refund of the total payment made. Less than 1 week before your class: You may cancel and receive a 25% refund of the total payment made. Within 72 hours of your class: No refund will be issued. Cancellations by Instructor In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund of all payments made, or the option to reschedule to the earliest available date that works for you. No-Show Policy If you are not present at your scheduled class without prior notice, all payments made will be forfeited and no rescheduling will be offered. Rescheduling Requests More than 2 weeks before your class: You may reschedule without penalty, subject to availability. Your booking fee will transfer to the new date. Less than 2 weeks before your class: Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and a 10% rebooking fee of your total. Emergencies: Life happens — please reach out as soon as possible and I will do my best to work with you fairly.
